Background and Voting Procedures
The Alum Association is moving to a new system for class treasury management. In response to feedback from classes that manage individual bank accounts for their treasuries, we have developed a process that enables the Association to manage class treasuries on your behalf. This new setup will streamline financial processes and allow for smoother transitions as class officers changes every five years.
Your class board has been briefed on the changes to treasury administration and recommends that your class vote to adopt them. During the meeting, we will share an overview of the changes, allow time for questions and discussion, and hold a vote.
Class members will vote on two items: (1) the Merger Agreement and (2) the Class Charter. The voting language is as follows:
– I vote to adopt the Merger Agreement.
– I vote to adopt the Class Charter.
Please note that only class members in attendance may participate in the vote. A quorum will consist of the class members in attendance.
Briefing materials are available here and include:
(1) Legal Documents: Class Charter, Collaboration Agreement (voted on by the class board) and Merger Agreement
(2) Treasury Info Sheet
