Connections Class Event and Book Club Reminder

We’re writing with several lovely opportunities to reconnect on campus with the students in our
Connections class — and with each other!

Wednesday, March 11 | 4:00–7:00 pm
Study Break for the Class of 2027
Blanchard, Room 227

We’ll host a relaxed drop-in gathering where students can:

  • Make a quick craft
  • Enjoy homemade cookies (we’d love it if you’d like to bake and bring some!)
  • Chat informally with us and one another

It’s a meaningful, low-key way to hear what students are experiencing on campus as spring break
approaches. We’d love to have you join us.

Bonus: The 53rd Annual Flower Show will be taking place while we’re there — a beautiful sign
of early spring!

A block of rooms is reserved at Willits-Hallowell for Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Planning to attend the Study Break?

If you’re staying overnight, or nearby, feel free to gather at Willits-Hallowell to join the
discussion together.

A special “Thank you” to Susan Colgan and Avice Meehan, our Connections Class
Committee, who have put together these wonderful plans to bring us together with the Class of
2027.

Also, for those who are interested:

On Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 pm (Zoom), our 1977 Class Book Club will discuss My
Friends by Fredrik Backman.
