Sad News: Pamela Davis ’77

Ms. Pamela R. Davis (Pamela R Counts) died suddenly but peacefully at 6:37 am on October 30th,
2013 at her home. Pamela was a dedicated wife to Jimmie Davis, mother
to Rachel Davis and her nephew, Kenyata Davis. Pamela’s father,
Theodore Counts, lives in Bristol, PA and her mother Carol Counts is
deceased. Pamela has three sisters: Lynda Moore, Philadelphia; Jill
Weaverling, Pittsburg; and Pat Counts-Jordan, Raleigh.

Mrs. Davis worked for the DOT for 30 years and retired in 2010. She
served as facility manager at Martin Street Baptist Church. Pamela was
an usher, Sunday School Teacher, played musical bells and worked on
church committees.
Pamela dedicated her life to her treasures which were children, her
garden, her cat and dog. Her memorial service will be held at Martin
Street Baptist Church on November 4th at noon (wake is 11:30am).
