Class Agent News
Kudos to ‘77

The Class of 1977 demonstrated a strong commitment to Mount Holyoke’s annual fund in the 2022-23 fiscal year and is on pace to repeat that performance this year. Thirty-six percent of our class — or 171 individuals out of a total of 476 who receive mailings — helped raise $255,934 for the fund. The total includes matching funds from March4MHC.

The annual fund provides critical support to Mount Holyoke. In 2023, more than 9,000 alums, family members, faculty, staff, and students contributed $8.81 million to the fund, surpassing the goal of $8.7 million.

Thanks to a great team of volunteers, our class has already raised $137,262 as of January 15, putting us more than halfway toward the 2024 goal of $250,000. That total reflects gifts and pledges from 85 donors for a participation rate of approximately 18 percent. We hope to break all class records in the next six months and gain support from another 105 classmates.
