March Madness is almost upon us.
For our beloved alma mater, that means March4MHC instead of a flurry of college basketball games.
March 9 and 10 are the big days, but early birds can make their donations now:

We’re hoping that at least 100 classmates will participate this year and that a few more might consider becoming monthly or sustaining donors to Mount Holyoke. There are prizes! An anonymous classmate has pledged a gift of $1,000 if we reach that mark and other alums will give our class an additional $500 for every 20 donors. Every dollar will also count toward our 50th reunion goal.
So please consider making your annual donation during March4MHC or making a token contribution ($25 or more) if you have already given. As a reminder, the annual fund supports more than 10 percent of the college’s annual budget and makes a real difference for students, faculty, and staff. If you have a particular interest, you can also identify a “destination’ for your gift.
The good news? Members of our class have already given or pledged more than $144,000 to the Mount Holyoke annual fund this year. That puts us more than halfway to our dollar goal of $250,000. But what’s our biggest goal: increasing the number of our classmates who support the college – at whatever level makes sense for them.
Our team of class agents will be reaching out to members of our class, but please feel free to share with your circle of friends. They will try to share progress on our Facebook page during the challenge.
